What EOSL means

The hardware keeps working. The OEM just stops answering.

End of service life is the date the manufacturer stops selling support contracts for a model. It is a commercial decision, not a technical one. The parts still exist and the failure rates are known.

We keep spares for post-EOSL equipment in stock and support it for 3 to 5+ years past the OEM date. Most customers use that time to plan a refresh on their own schedule instead of the OEM’s.
