Cisco end of service life dates.

149 Cisco models tracked. 79 already past EOSL. Every one of them can stay in production on third-party maintenance, 3 to 5+ years past the Cisco date, at 40 to 70 percent below the OEM contract.

Dates are the OEM's published end of service life and can change. Confirm the date for your serial numbers before you plan around it. Model not listed? Ask us.

After the Cisco date

What happens to Cisco hardware at EOSL.

Cisco stops selling support contracts for the model. Firmware and security updates stop. The hardware keeps running. Failure rates for a mature platform are known and stable, and the parts exist on the secondary market.

We hold spares for post-EOSL Cisco equipment and support it for 3 to 5+ years past the OEM date with in-house L3+ engineers, a 4-hour on-site SLA, and month-to-month terms. Most customers use that window to refresh on their own schedule.
