The same break-fix. A different invoice.

  • Parts for your Cisco models stocked near your site, confirmed in writing before day one
  • L3+ engineer on the first call. No tier-one script
  • One contract across every vendor you run, co-termed to one date
  • Month-to-month available. No auto-renew
  • Ticket and parts history exportable for audit

When to stay with Cisco

We tell you before you ask.

  • Devices where you need ongoing IOS, IOS-XE or NX-OS software updates and TAC access
  • Meraki, which is cloud-licensed and stops functioning without a Cisco license
  • Security appliances that need current threat signatures from Cisco

Most customers keep Cisco on one or two platforms and move the rest. The quote shows both columns so you can decide per model.

Questions we get about Cisco

Can a third party maintain Cisco switches after SmartNet ends?

Yes, for hardware. Catalyst and Nexus switches past Cisco end of sale are a large share of what we support. We replace the hardware, hold spares near your site and answer the phone. Software updates and TAC are Cisco-only.

What do I lose when I leave SmartNet?

Software downloads, bug fixes and TAC. On a switch that has been stable for three years and is past Cisco end of software maintenance, you have already lost those. On a device you still patch, keep SmartNet.

Do you support Cisco UCS servers?

Yes. UCS C-series rack servers and B-series blades, including fabric interconnects. UCS Manager firmware follows the same rule as switches: Cisco controls the software, we maintain the hardware.
