Questions we get about HPE
Can a third party maintain HPE ProLiant servers after the HPE contract ends?
Yes. ProLiant DL360 and DL380 Gen8, Gen9 and Gen10 are among the most common servers we support. Parts are stocked and no HPE entitlement is required for break-fix.
What about HPE firmware and iLO updates?
HPE gates some ProLiant firmware behind an active warranty or contract. Security-related firmware is generally free. Before you switch we tell you, per model, what you keep and what you give up.
Do you support 3PAR after HPE end of support?
Hardware break-fix, yes. 3PAR firmware and OS updates need HPE entitlement, so we recommend staying on HPE while you still want updates and moving to us when the array is stable and the OEM date has passed.
